Technology Project Manager

Edmonton, AB (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week)

Contract Details

  • 1-Year Contract with potential extension

We are seeking experienced Technology Project Managers to support a large portfolio of enterprise technology initiatives within a fast-paced operational environment. Successful candidates will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and manage the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities within complex operational and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, timelines, budgets, and delivery activities
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource plans
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Drive accountability across integrated project teams
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
  • Support operational change windows and implementation activities as required
  • Provide clear business-focused project reporting and status communication
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Apply lessons learned and continuous improvement practices across project delivery
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and technical teams to balance priorities and project outcomes

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10–15 years of Project Management experience
  • PMP Certification required
  • Strong experience leading large cross-functional technology projects
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and integrated delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including:
  • MS Project
  • Visio
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Experience creating executive-level project reporting and communication
  • Strong problem-solving, risk management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to adapt within changing operational environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within operational infrastructure environments
  • Experience supporting technology deployments in highly regulated environments

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Restricted Access Pass
  • Must be comfortable working fully onsite
  • Flexibility to support occasional after-hours or change-window activities if required
