Shift Manager

Tap & Barrel is currently on the hunt to grow our FOH leadership team at our Brentwood location. We are looking for experienced leaders. We are looking for an individual that inspires the team and has a passion for hospitality. Tap & Barrel Brentwood is located at the Amazing Brentwood mall and features a lively bar and lounge, dining room, and a roof top patio. Steps away from the skytrain and multiple transit routes. Responsible for maintaining all operations and creating positive guest experiences, this person embodies our company's core values and has a passion for leading and developing the team. Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Support Tap & Barrel’s Core Values
• Oversee and monitor daily restaurant operations, providing assistance when necessary
• Coordinate with management team on production planning and forecasting
• Oversee tracking and recording labour, sales, inventory etc.
• Oversee and improve guest service (greeting, educating, processing transactions)
• Develop business strategies to attract more guests & optimize profitability
• Assist in planning, organizing, marketing, and executing events and parties
• Supervise & manage 100+ FOH staff
• Initiate and assist with staff meetings and training as necessary
• Educate guests and staff on beer styles, beer history, and beer flavours
• Educate guests and staff on wine styles, wine history, and wine flavours
• Deal with all issues that may arise from staff and/or guests
• With our company expansion plans there is vast growth and development.

A minimum 1 year of management experience in restaurants and hospitality is a requirement. We are looking for an experienced individual with a goal to grow in leadership within our company. Thanks and we look forward to meeting you!
