Location: Saskatoon, SK (On-site) Salary- $70,000-$80,000 (Depending on experience)Domain- Industrial Services Our client, a growing industrial services organization, provides specialized solutions to customers across multiple sectors and continues to invest in technology to improve operational efficiency and business intelligence .We are seeking a Technical Systems Developer with 3–5 years of experience in software development and IT support to help maintain, enhance, and support our internal technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on role that combines application development, system administration, automation, infrastructure support, and troubleshooting. You'll work closely with both technical and operational teams to develop internal tools, improve business processes, and ensure the reliability of our technology platforms. Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development & Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain internal applications and business systems.
- Build integrations and automation solutions using APIs and modern development tools.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot, test, deploy, and support software solutions.
- Follow software engineering best practices and maintain high-quality code standards.
IT Support & Infrastructure
- Provide technical support for internal users, systems, and business applications.
- Support and maintain Windows/Linux environments, servers, networks, and hardware.
- Assist with network troubleshooting, system upgrades, backups, and security initiatives.
- Support printers, workstations, storage systems, and other critical infrastructure.
Business Systems Support
- Support and optimize platforms such as Odoo, Shopify, Amazon, and other operational systems.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in software development, IT support, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience with APIs, automation, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Linux server environments and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to work across diverse technologies.
- Exposure to shipping software is considered an asset.
