DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Business devlopement, new client acquisition, hunting.

NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: 50%

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL: 5%

CONDITIONS1st YEAR GUARANTEED SALARY: $90 000 to $120 000 ++

TOOLS PROVIDED: Car allowance + Cell phone + laptop.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is a leading manufacturer and direct distributor of specialized transport trailers—from low-volume units to custom applications designed for demanding industries. Our product line includes mobile floor trailers and residue floor systems, tailored to serve waste management, recycling, construction, demolition, and scrap metal sectors.

We offer a fully integrated internal engineering team, ensuring our products meet 100% of road safety regulations, while delivering durability and long-term value.

We are currently recruiting to replace a long tenured representative approaching retirement. We are seeking a Territory Manager to take over the GTA region to ensure a seamless handover and continued growth in a highly strategic market.

As Territory Manager, your mandate is to grow our direct sales in Ontario by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You’ll be instrumental in establishing direct customer relationships, improving margins, and increasing competitiveness. The market is relationship-driven, with most purchases tied to long-term contracts rather than short-term or used equipment.

RESPONSABILITIES

- Prospecting & Lead Generation.

- Identify and target niche prospects through research and outbound efforts.

- Limited cold-calling; many potential clients already identified.

- Grow presence among key accounts and expand customer base.

- Focus on long-term sales cycles and solution selling.

- Leverage product durability and compliance to stand out from competitors.

- Build trusted partnerships with key contacts: Owners/Operators, Buyers, Fleet Managers, and Maintenance Directors.

- Understand client pain points and tailor proposals to meet operational needs.

- Promote product consistency to support maintenance and parts strategies.

- Track competitor activity and market trends.

CLIENTS

- Waste management and recycling companies.

- Transportation brokers.

- Construction & demolition contractors.

- Scrap metal companies.
