Scope:
This role will establish testing approaches to effectively measure test results and provide confirmation; ensuring test cases reflect the scope of business requirements and development being delivered.

Candidate will establish testing approaches to effectively measure test results and provide confirmation; ensure test cases reflect the scope of business requirements and development being delivered.
Under direction, support the following activities:
• Review, evaluate and provide test input during business requirements and design specifications gathering sessions.
• Identify and communicate testing issues, implement process improvement and issue resolution.
• Identify the target test items to be evaluated by the test effort.
• Support in development and execution of test plans.
• Working with Subject Matter experts to define the appropriate tests required and any associated test data.
• Gather and manage the test data.
• Evaluate the outcome of each test cycle.
• Advised on the most appropriate implementation approach for a given test.
• Faciliate and manage, set up and execution the tests.
• Log outcomes, verify test execution and define exit criteria for testing
• Collaborate with appropriate project team members to analyze and recover from execution errors.
• Track test results, statistics, metrics and status and action appropriately towards completion
• Attend necessary meetings to review testing inputs/outputs and provide status updates.
• Support project team members in the analysis of issues.
• Support project teams utilizing AI tools and/or automated testing tools.
Mandatory Qualifications: (Must have Minimum 5 years of all of the following)
- Bachelor degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Experience coordinating testing activities with business users, business analysts, technical teams, project managers, security teams, and third-party vendors.
- Experience executing test data, executing tests and verifying results and logging issues.
- Experience in identifying testing issues and implementing process improvement and resolutions
- Experience preparing or supporting the preparation of test plans and test cases.
- Experience supporting software quality assurance, QA testing, UAT coordination, test execution support, and defect lifecycle activities in an enterprise application environment.
- Experience supporting testing or UAT activities for SAP, ERP, procurement, finance, supply chain, or other integrated enterprise systems.
- Experience tracking test execution progress, defect metrics, testing status, risks, blockers, and preparing UAT dashboards or status reports for project stakeholders and management.
- Experience leading and executing comprehensive testing of end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay processes, including validation of Ariba upstream procurement workflows and S/4HANA downstream financial integration or similar processes in other ERPs.
- Ability to organize testing activities, follow up on action items, manage competing priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and meet project timelines.
- Experience supporting testing of system integrations, interfaces, data flows, or end-to-end business processes across multiple systems.
- Experience understanding business requirements and translating them into test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and UAT validation activities.
- Experience with one or more SAP products such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), Fieldglass, or similar ERP procurement systems.
- Experience with smoke testing, unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with using JIRA or Revision Control System (RCS)
- Understanding of ERP implementation lifecycle, testing phases, release testing, defect lifecycle, and UAT readiness activities in enterprise projects.
- Ability to manage stress, conflict, competing priorities, and time-sensitive project issues professionally.
Equipment Requirements:
- GoA will supply laptop or desktop
Working Hours:
- Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the Province
- Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.
Notes on Location:
- The expectation will be for the resource to work from the office 5 days a Week in Edmonton, AB
Estimated Start Date: JUL 2026
Estimated End Date: MAY 2027
Possible Extension - 12 months
Rate Range: $58 - $66/hr
