Associate Lawyer

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of family law matters-from divorce and separation agreements to custody, support, and property disputes-while collaborating with a supportive team that values both professional excellence and client care. What You'll Do

• Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients across a broad spectrum of family law issues.
• Draft and review pleadings, agreements, court applications, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to strengthen case strategies.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely communication with clients.
• Stay current with legislative and case law developments in family law.
• Build lasting relationships with clients by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness.

What We're Looking For

• License to practice law in Alberta and in good standing with the Law Society.
• Strong background or genuine interest in family law.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid drafting and organizational abilities.
• A problem-solver with a client-first mindset who can manage sensitive issues with discretion.
