As Branch Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the Regina branch, to meet the needs of Saskatchewan-based customers. This role combines operational oversight with hands-on business development and relationship management. You will lead a small but capable team, manage inventory and logistics, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients across the region.
You will also play a key role in expanding the company’s market share in emerging sectors such as mining while deepening relationships in traditional industries like agriculture and construction. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with purchasing and production teams at the head office to ensure inventory is aligned with customer needs and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities within target sectors such as agriculture, construction, mining, and manufacturing.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with current clients, walk-in customers, and regional stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations including sales activities, order fulfillment, inventory control, and customer service.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely product availability and inventory planning.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to branch staff, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Track branch performance metrics and support regional financial planning and forecasting efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in industrial sales or distribution, particularly in sectors like manufacturing, equipment, or construction supply.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with a natural ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience; branch management experience is considered an asset.
