  • Advise clients on all aspects of Property Insurance (homes, high-value, rentals, vacation properties across BC, AB, SK, MB, ON) and Automobile Insurance (ensuring compliance and proper coverage in AB and ON).
  • Accurately assess client risks and negotiate with insurers to secure the best coverage, pricing, and terms, including securing special endorsements or coverage exceptions.
  • Efficiently handle the entire policy lifecycle: Quote & Bind new business across multiple provinces, and accurately process renewals and policy changes, always reviewing coverage for improvements or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Actively identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Ensure all records are accurate, processes adhere to regulatory requirements, and clients receive timely follow-ups.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, insurer products, rate filings, and industry updates across all provinces we serve.
  • Actively manage and grow your personal lines book of business.
  • Proactively develop new business by prospecting, generating referrals, and leveraging your professional network and existing client relationships.
  • Work with Summit's external partners and associations to optimize our personal insurance programs and better serve their members' needs.
  • Act as the internal subject-matter expert for Personal-Lines. You'll establish best practices, design training materials, and provide technical coaching to elevate the team's capabilities, especially around cross-selling.
