We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Customer Partner – Transformation & Growth (Power & Utilities Focus) to lead business development, account management, and transformation initiatives across key accounts in the Power & Utilities sector nationally across Canada. This role combines strategic leadership, digital transformation expertise, and cross-portfolio orchestration to deliver measurable value and long-term growth. RESPONSIBILITIES:Account Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to achieve significant sales growth.
- Elevate discussions to the enterprise level, helping clients navigate Siemens’ complexity and unlock transformational value.
- Manage sales through forecasting, qualifications, account strategy, planning, cost estimation, and negotiation.
- Create and maintain a viable pipeline developed from customer interactions for business planning.
- Establish and manage a robust pipeline, lead pursuit teams, and negotiate strategic deals.
- Develop and implement detailed strategies to bring leads through the sales process to contract negotiation and closure.
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders, becoming a valued advisor.
- Serve as the primary Advanta executive for Siemens key accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and alignment across global structures.
- Represent Siemens as a thought leader in the Power & Utilities sector, engaging with industry associations and contributing to account planning.
Solution Architecture & Proposal Development
- Architect and deliver innovative solutions leveraging Siemens portfolios, including Digital Industries, Advanta, and Xcelerator partners.
- Orchestrate specific value propositions while considering broader Siemens capabilities and competitor differentiation.
- Collaborate with solution design and specialty teams to develop compelling proposals and close high-impact projects.
Cross-Functional & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate across internal teams and strategic partners to ensure successful execution and scalable impact.
- Coordinate with Xcelerator partners to support repeatability and scaling of specific offerings.
- Drive Siemens Xcelerator partner engagements consistent with key account plans and customer needs.
Sales Execution, Pipeline Management & Forecasting
- Drive opportunity management, demand generation, and rigorous forecasting to ensure solutions deliver quantifiable financial outcomes.
- Create and maintain a viable pipeline developed from customer interactions for business planning.
- Establish and manage a robust pipeline, lead pursuit teams, and negotiate strategic deals.
What will you need to succeed?Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or enterprise sales with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
- Existing relationships in the Power Utilities Industry Sales in the US Northeast region.
- 8+ years of experience of understanding of the Power & Utilities industry, including market dynamics and business drivers.
- 8+ years of experience navigating diverse sales channels (direct, distributors, system integrators).
- 5+ years of experience in selling Cloud, SaaS, and professional services sales.

- Exceptional executive presence and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels, including written, oral, and presentation skills in English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of urgency.
- Data-oriented, passionate, and forward-thinking.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with an innate ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders and own decision-making.
Travel:
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50-70% within Canada and US.
Preferred:Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Technical & Industry Expertise:
- Expertise in digital transformation, automation, and enterprise-level solution selling.
- Familiarity with Siemens Digital Industries, Smart Infrastructure, and Advanta portfolios.
- Knowledge in Power Utility Transmission and Distribution planning, engineering, and operations business.
- Experience and appreciation for digital transformation strategies, cloud and SaaS technologies, and their applicability in Power Utilities.
- Understanding of how to engage with IOUs, larger municipalities, and cooperative utilities.
Sales & Strategic Capabilities:
- Experience developing and executing complex opportunity strategies across ecosystems.
- Ability to coordinate with Xcelerator partners and contribute to scalable, repeatable offerings.
- Experience in managing and collaborating with global product teams across multiple geographic locations and time zones.
