About The Opportunity

  • Responsible for analyzing financial data to support the optimization of the treasury function.
  • Generate detailed reports and provide insights on key financial metrics to support decision-making processes.
  • Review financial reports, monitors accounts, and prepares activity/cost reports and financial forecasts as required.
  • Provide technical support for complex accounting transactions and champion the use of technology in reporting and promote identification of process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements through active involvement in current and future strategic improvement projects.
  • Support the on time and on quality delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated cash flow forecasts, draws and draw schedules.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, seeking always to be best in class for financial reporting processes and practices.

About You In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • CPA or CPA Candidate
  • Strong computer literacy including advanced working skills in Excel.
  • Thorough technical knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
  • Experience with Yardi software considered an asset
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
