Join our Digital and Information Services, Platform Delivery team as Manager, Solution Development. This role offers the opportunity to shape how software is delivered across the organization by building platforms and capabilities that enable teams to move faster, more safely, and more independently.

As a Manager, Solution Development, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering internal products and services that support the full software development lifecycle. You will support and enable the ongoing evolution of loosely coupled platforms, APIs, and shared capabilities that reduce cross-team dependencies and enable self-service delivery. This includes building a team culture that encourages learning, reflection, and continuous improvement in how tools, processes, and practices are used to deliver modern, cloud-based, software solutions.

  • Have demonstrated experience leading software delivery teams, with a strong focus on coaching people, fostering healthy team culture, and creating the conditions for continuous improvement and effective collaboration.
  • Bring a solid understanding of modern software delivery concepts - such as agile, systems thinking, continuous deployment, and domain-driven design - and can apply them to reduce friction, manage dependencies, and enable teams to deliver independently.
  • Bring a strategic mindset along with enough technical depth in modern, cloud-based, and distributed systems to engage meaningfully with teams to support high-quality software delivery
  • Have exceptional communication skills and a passion for guiding others.
  • Driven to innovate, simplify, and make an impact.

Typically, the knowledge, skills and experience are gained through a four-year degree in a relevant field of study, such as Information Technology, Mathematics & Applied Science orBusiness and eight years’ experience comprised of four years of leadership and four years’ experience as a leader or project manager in the design and delivery of large systems to support business operations.
