Job Description We are looking for a Disaster Recovery Analyst to join our growing global team at Sectigo. The Disaster Recovery Analyst engages with a team of highly technical System Engineers, Architects, and Site Reliability Engineers that deploy, manage, and maintain our cloud and data center environments. This individual possesses a solid technical background and be capable of coordinating with teams in implementing disaster recovery programs. This is a full-time position working in the hybrid model and at least 3 days a week from our Ottawa office. Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
- Develop, coordinate, and implement disaster recovery programs.
- Assists with building the DR program, using industry best practices for disaster recovery (technology recovery).
- Establish and communicate organization and team goals that support and advance team and organization objectives; RTO/RPO, establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress, accomplishments, and opportunities.
- Monitors and analyzes cloud and on prem infrastructure for potential disaster scenarios.
- Ensuring backups of critical data and applications are performed regularly.
- Plan and manage drills to ensure effective disaster responses.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery documentation.
- Other duties as assigned and related to the nature of this role and company initiatives.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, or certifications is strongly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Business Continuity + Disaster Recovery.
- Experience in process development and improvement, internal consulting and providing compliance requirements and recommendations.
- Experience with DR products, such as Rubrik preferred.

- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical business personnel.
- Expertise in internal project consulting and providing compliance requirements.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
- Ability to be on call 24x7.
