Requisition ID: 264914 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. Intraday Liquidity Management is a critical function within the Bank. This role is responsible for forecasting and monitoring nostro account positions, producing intraday liquidity reporting, and supporting regulatory and technology initiatives to enhance the team’s analytics and operational processes. Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Prepare and manage intraday forecast and other liquidity reports.
  • Propose options and implement solutions to improve cash forecasts.
  • Responsible for forecasting and analyzing early morning and intraday liquidity needs for EUR and GBP.
  • Assist to manage cash balances in other foreign currencies on a t+1 basis.
  • Assist in strategic projects for cash management and Treasury.
  • Keep abreast of local and global intraday liquidity strategy, regulatory requirements and industry best practices and developments.
  • Work with stakeholders from funding and trading desks, finance, and operations on change management initiatives.
  • Work with technology teams on system improvements and implementations.
  • Work with Treasury and other stakeholders on new initiatives.
  • Analyze any discrepancies between forecast and actual.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes to satisfy internal and external audit purposes and business continuity requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Finance & Business or Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of the banking business and knowledge of financial instruments.
  • Basic programming skills in VBA, Python, and SQL preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical & independent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams to produce and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
  • Critical thinking, ability to digest complex information and identify critical steps to make recommendations to management.
  • Broadens capabilities; has practical knowledge of financial instruments (derivatives, money market, loans/deposits, securities, etc.) and uses technology to drive solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the banking business (Fixed Income Instruments, Derivatives, Risk Management disciplines)
  • Strong communication & relationship management skill and ability to manage productive relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision.
