Part-Time High School Science/Math tutor

As a tutor and mentor at Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support to our students. You are joining a dynamic team that will work with you to make sure that you make a difference in lives of each and every student you have the opportunity to work with.

Essential Job Functions

• Instruct students on an as-needed basis
• Report student progress
• Prepare teaching materials, when applicable
• Attend training workshops
• Complete administrative tasks
• Achieve Real Life Results for each student! Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual Goal Sheet – our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with!

Requirements

• Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
• Able to work both as a part of a team and independently
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
• Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
• Excellent organizational skills
