Position Summary Garaventa Lift is seeking an Accountant to join and support our finance team. Reporting to Assistant Controller, this role supports a variety of accounting functions, including cost and inventory analysis, fixed assets, month-end close, and selected accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detailed-oriented and organized with strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Work Location: Surrey BC This is a 100% on-site position Key Responsibilities

• Product cost and inventory analysis
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice, credit note processing and payment tracking
• Oversee fixed asset accounting activities, including asset additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations
• Maintain and update financial records using Syteline and QuickBooks
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed
• Other duties as required by the Group Controller and Assistant Controller

Qualifications & Experience

• Post-secondary diploma/degree in BBA or Accounting
• Enrollment in the CPA program or recent CPA graduate
• A minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing and construction companies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Database, especially Excel including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Marco, etc.
• Experience using Syteline and QuickBooks or equivalent ERP systems
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well in teams
• Strong communication verbal and written skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Knowledge of IFRS and public company reporting is an asset
