- Receive and store merchandise in accordance with established standards.
- Package and label products and implement price changes in accordance with established standards.
- Place merchandise on counters and in displays.
- Oversee all product rotations and remove expired or damaged products.
- Provide exceptional and attentive customer service.
- Boost sales by telling customers about new products, presenting product features and suggesting complementary or alternative products.
- Advise customers (cooking tips, product selection, etc.).
- May be responsible for buffets, credit management, planogram implementation or product quality checks.
- Ensure that equipment and supplies are used in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure that workspace, counters and shelves are clean at all times.
- Comply with established food safety and hygiene standards.
- Remain vigilant to minimize merchandise loss and breakage.
- Perform any other related duties.
What You Bring To The Table
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- ITHQ certification is a valuable asset.
- You have at least six months of experience in a relevant department.
- You are proficient in receiving, production and display tasks.
- You have strong communication skills and are attentive to customer needs.
- You have strong technical skills in the applicable department.
- You stand out for your energy, interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
- You are available to work various shifts during business hours.
