• The role of the Yard Labourer is to assist in the loading of finished material on trailers. In addition to this, the Yard Labourer completes general housekeeping and other miscellaneous tasks to support operations in the yard.
• Assist the Loader Operators in the loading of finished product on trailers.
• Complete general cleaning of yard facilities including but not limited to inventory sorting, material organization and daily housekeeping.
• Perform general cleaning and organizing of the yard and/or shop facilities.
• Clean and inspect company vehicles and equipment upon return from field operations.
• Complete material and product labeling and bundling to assist with shipping and receiving.
• Bundle finished product, stack and prepare for shipping.
• Read and interpret internal work orders and supporting documentation.
• Comply with company safe work practices and procedures.
• Various other duties as required.

Requirements

• Prior general labourer experience considered an asset
• Prior experience operating equipment considered an asset
• Mechanical aptitude an asset
• Alberta Class 5 (or higher) driver’s license and your own vehicle; no public transportation available
• Ability to complete pre-employment testing, including but not limited to a medical questionnaire, a 50 lbs. back assessment and drug and alcohol test
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Overhead Crane Certification preferred
