Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Project Manager - IT III to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy. Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: Starting from $78 per hour Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday;Core Business Hours Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope
- Manage project resources, including procuring staff, motivating, coaching, and advising team members
- Collaborate with functional project teams to define business requirements
- Lead development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
- Define and oversee test plans to ensure products are defect-free prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Facilitate UAT processes and develop rollout plans and procedures
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to systems development and project management best practices
- Present updates and recommendations to steering committees or project sponsors
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- PMP or PMI certification required
- 5-7 years of proven project management experience
- Strong people management and team-building skills
- Ability to adapt and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Quick learner of business processes and effective collaborator with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong risk assessment and management skills for technology applications and business functions
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments
