Senior Accountant

A publicly traded company is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the VP, Corporate Accounting your responsibilities will include:

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated CPA with 5+ years experience where it’s a combination of public practice and progressive accounting experience in industry

In addition, the following skills and experience are desired:

• Extensive experience with year-end audit working paper files, as well as preparation of financial statements and notes to financial statements
• Experience with consolidated financial statements of up to 5-10 legal entities and that will roll up to the parent company.
• Experience with joint ventures and limited partnerships would be a big asset
• Proven ability handling high volume of activities in a fast-paced work environment with multiple demands
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills - must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
• Self-directed and self-starter
