Job DescriptionRESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS). Position Summary Department / Research Program: Department of Family Medicine, McGill University Reporting to the Principal Investigator, Dr. Karin Fink, the Junior Assistant will support the coordination and management of administrative tasks of several research projects related to community-based palliative care. The incumbent will primarily be responsible for assisting with scheduling needs, finance-related tasks, and other administrative duties as assigned. General Duties
- Facilitating communications with research partners, administrative/support staff, and organizations related to the completion of research projects ,
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and drafting administrative documents for research projects (e.g., CVs) ,
- Setting up and maintaining lab resources and subscriptions to technical resources (e.g., lab website) ,
- Supporting students with administrative research tasks ,
- Supporting with grant and protocol writing and submission ,
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Advanced knowledge of oral and written French is required.
- An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
- Attention to detail and accuracy,
- Demonstrate diplomacy, discretion, and good judgment,
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Additional information Status: Temporary, part-time: 15 hours Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience Work Shift: Variable Schedule Other: According to project needs.
