Head of Branded Sales (CPG Contract Manufacturing) 120k-150k Base ++Red Rover Recruitment — Toronto, ON (Hybrid / Travel Required)

Our client is one of North America’s largest and fastest-growing privately owned contract manufacturers, producing high-volume home care, personal care and household cleaning products for major brands across the U.S. and Canada. This includes categories like laundry, bleach/cleaners, and related household consumables.

They’re hiring a Head of Branded Sales — a senior player/hunter who can win new branded customers and build long-term partnerships with large, complex organizations. This is a Toronto based role with frequent U.S. travel.

What you’ll do

  • Own the full BD cycle for branded contract manufacturing: prospecting → discovery → proposal → negotiation → close
  • Target and win new branded customers (new logos = the win)
  • Build relationships across customer stakeholders: Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, Operations
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close multi-year supply agreements
  • Partner internally with Operations/Quality/Technical teams to ensure executable, scalable programs
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline and forecasting

Who you are

You understand how contract manufacturing decisions get made — and you know how to win them.

You may come from:

  • Contract manufacturing sales (home care / cleaning / adjacent CPG categories), or
  • CPG procurement / sourcing where you’ve selected and managed contract manufacturers

You’re credible with senior stakeholders, comfortable selling into large, complex organizations, and strong in consultative deal-making.

Must-haves

  • Contract manufacturing experience (sell-side or buy-side)
  • Proven new customer acquisition / hunter mindset
  • Executive communication + negotiation strength
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S.
  • GTA-based (or willing to relocate)

Nice to have

  • Home care / household cleaning / laundry category exposure
  • Experience with major CPG organizations (P&G, Clorox, SC Johnson, Reckitt, Henkel, Unilever, or similar)
