Our Heavy Equipment client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow revenue within the Edmonton region by building strong customer relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and representing the organization with professionalism at every touchpoint. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of territory development, strong communication and presentation skills, and a consultative, customer‑first approach. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with customers across the territory
- Identify market trends, competitive moves, and whitespace opportunities through ongoing analysis
- Prospect new business by cold calling
- Seek out and qualify new business prospects
- Build a healthy pipeline, deliver compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and secure new business
- Collaborate with marketing and customer service to align campaigns, resolve issues, and enhance client satisfaction
- Monitor and assist with asset listings for customer consignments to maximize sales outcomes
- Prepare accurate, timely reports on activities, results, and market intelligence for leadership review
- Support the planning, setup, and on‑site presence for regional trade shows and industry events
Your strengths include:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 5+ years in a territory and outside sales role within the Heavy Equipment, Truck or related industry is a definite asset
- Strong relationship‑building, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot) and Microsoft 365 for pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Excellent time management and territory planning; data‑driven approach to KPIs
- Collaborative mindset, works seamlessly with marketing, customer success, and operations
