Commercial Property Accountant

Property Accountant – Commercial (Contract) We are seeking a hands-on Contract Property Accountant with strong commercial real estate AR experience to support a busy accounting team during a period of transition. This individual will assist across Property Accounting and Revenue Accounting to help manage daily volumes, support AR coverage, and relieve workload pressures. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Manage daily deposit notifications and support AR coverage.
• Process AR postings and receipts; assist with collections-related follow-up as needed.
• Provide backup coverage for a two-week planned AR absence.
• Complete bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with OCR (CAM recovery) reviews, including billing budgets and variance explanations.
• Support senior team members during month-end cycles as requested.
• Provide general float support across the team to rebalance workload.
• Your strengths include: 2+ years’ experience in a related field/position
• CPA or Pursuing considered an asset
• Ability to work fully from office
• Confident communicator who asks questions, takes initiative, and learns quickly with supervision
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities
