Accounting Assistant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support their finance team. This role involves preparing journal entries, performing bank and credit card reconciliations, and providing general accounting support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
• Assist with audits and other financial reporting tasks

Your strengths include:

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
