Quality/Test Engineer

Razor is looking for a Quality/Test Engineer responsible for validating data accuracy, ensuring business rules are applied correctly, and supporting regression testing across multiple reporting cycles. This role focuses on building regression suites, validating data outputs, and ensuring calculations and reporting logic produce accurate results.

Education & Certification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Validate data outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency with defined business logic • Verify that evidence and supporting data align with expected reporting and calculation rules • Develop and maintain automated and manual regression test suites across reporting cycles • Test large data exports and validate completeness and accuracy of extracted datasets • Validate calculation outcomes and ensure expected results are produced • Design and execute functional, integration, and regression testing strategies • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to resolve data discrepancies • Document test cases, validation logic, and testing results • Identify defects, track issues, and verify fixes throughout the development lifecycle • Support validation of reporting outputs and ensure data integrity

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or data validation • Experience validating data outputs and ensuring adherence to defined business rules • Experience developing regression testing frameworks or test suites • Strong SQL or data querying skills for validation and analysis • Experience testing data pipelines, reporting systems, or analytical platforms • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks • Familiarity with data quality monitoring and validation techniques • Experience working with large datasets and data exports • Knowledge of reporting or analytics platforms • Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation practices
