Job Description & Summary At PwC, our Operations & Procurement consulting practice partners with clients across industries to transform core operating models, end‑to‑end supply chains, and asset‑intensive operations—driving productivity, resilience, safety, and sustainable performance. We deliver integrated, technology‑enabled advisory and transformation services spanning operations strategy, intelligent maintenance, autonomous and remote operations, connected supply chains, smart logistics and warehousing, materials optimization, operating model redesign, and digital enablement. As a Director, Operations & Procurement Consulting, you will play a senior leadership role in shaping and delivering large‑scale operational and supply‑chain transformations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite and senior executives, lead complex multi‑year programs, contribute to go‑to‑market strategy, and grow PwC’s operations and procurement offerings in Québec and Canada. The Opportunity: As a Director, Operations & Procurement, Consulting, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:
- Lead and oversee large, complex Operations and Supply Chain transformation programs across asset‑intensive and service‑based industries, integrating strategy, operating model design, digital enablement, and execution at scale.
- Demonstrate agility and resilience in managing dynamic projects by adapting swiftly to changing client needs, shifting priorities, and emerging challenges, guaranteeing successful delivery.
- Serve as a senior trusted advisor to executive client stakeholders, guiding major initiatives in operations excellence, intelligent maintenance, field operations, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain resilience with measurable business impact.
- Direct end‑to‑end diagnostics and value‑creation assessments, including operations strategy, asset performance, network and footprint optimization, materials and inventory management, and performance management models.
- Champion advanced Operations offerings, including intelligent and predictive maintenance, safe and enabled field worker, autonomous and remote operations, and digital aftermarket services.
- Lead Supply Chain transformation initiatives, including connected supply chains, S&OP / IBP, smart warehousing, smart logistics, materials management optimization, and end‑to‑end visibility enabled by analytics and digital platforms.
- Oversee operating model and process redesign across operations and supply chain functions, embedding governance, performance management, and change management to drive sustainable adoption.
- Integrate procurement strategically within broader operations and supply chain transformations (e.g., materials strategy, supplier collaboration, contract and cost optimization), rather than as a standalone capability.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams (both PwC and client), ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration within a complex, matrixed organization across industries and geographies.
- Manage engagement financials, risk, and resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting and exceeding client expectations; build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders, identifying growth and expansion opportunities for PwC.
- Contribute thought leadership, lead sales and business development—including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, developing proposals, and expanding PwC’s footprint—and foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and professional growth through coaching, recruitment, and active participation in firm initiatives, with flexibility to travel up to 70% to meet client needs.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees such as an MBA are a strong asset.
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience in management consulting or leadership roles within operations, supply chain, or procurement, overseeing large-scale transformations in core operations, supply chain strategy, and procurement.
- Expertise in asset-intensive industry operations, including asset lifecycle management, capital planning, maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, reliability-centered), and spare parts optimization, as well as improving asset availability through condition monitoring, IoT, digital twins, and predictive analytics.

- Working knowledge of procurement transformation, including operating model integration, category strategy, supplier collaboration, and cost optimization—within broader operations and supply‑chain initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to executives, shaping business strategy, securing buy-in for complex changes, and demonstrating agility and resilience to manage dynamic projects and shifting priorities.
- Expert application of agile methodologies and process optimization techniques, including leading value-stream mapping, process redesign workshops, and implementing operating models, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies across procurement and supply chain functions.
- Exceptional client engagement and stakeholder management skills; capable of leading multifaceted workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams, with advanced analytical, modeling, and data-driven decision-making abilities; proficiency with Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Python.

Job Posting End Date We’re committed to providing accommodation throughout the application, interview, and employment process. If you require accommodation to be at your best, please let us know during the application process. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruiting is just getting started, so we know you have questions about how and why we use it. At certain points during our recruiting process, we rely on AI to improve your experience. This could be during resume review or curating personalized job recommendations, asking you clarifying questions via a chatbot or during our interview scheduling to improve your experience. Our use of AI helps ensure we combat bias by evaluating candidates equally and fairly, without seeing identity information, such as your name, or gender for example). AI also helps us better predict successful hires by reviewing all applicants for a role and the relationship between your skills, experience and likely success at PwC Canada. While AI supports parts of our recruitment process, final hiring decisions always involve human review. For more information about our use and protection of your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy (https://www.pwc.com/ca/en/privacy-policy.html).
