Are you a skilled QA Automation Developer passionate about delivering high-quality digital services in complex, evolving environments?

📍 Location: Primarily Remote, with occasional meetings in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)

📅 Contract: Estimated 1,960 hours over term (approx. 24 months)

🕒 Schedule: Full-time, flexible based on project needs

🔧 What You’ll Do:

✔️ Lead quality assurance in delivery of digital services across multiple projects

✔️ Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios for manual and automated testing

✔️ Design and implement system, load/performance, and security tests

✔️ Develop and maintain automated test suites supporting frequent feature delivery

✔️ Support adoption of quality practices such as BDD/TDD, code linting, and test coverage

✔️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure quality is embedded throughout development

✔️ Help define and collect service quality metrics and automate reporting

✔️ Support innovation with reusable test components, test databases, and AI-assisted testing

💡 Key Skills You Bring:

✅ 2+ years coding and developing automation scripts

✅ 3+ years experience creating/modifying automated test scripts and plans

✅ 3+ years working with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)

✅ Experience with GitHub and version control (2+ years)

✅ Knowledge of load, performance, and security testing (3+ years)

✅ Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman (preferred)

✅ Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and Behavior Driven Development (nice to have)

✅ Experience with QA automation metrics and standards implementation

✅ Knowledge of Jira/Xray and User Acceptance Testing processes
