We’re looking for a Warehouse & Sales Associate to support a surplus asset management program – helping to manage, sell, and recycle assets while ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations.

📍 Location: Onsite – Edmonton, Alberta

📅 Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:30 PM (excluding statutory holidays)

🕒 Schedule: 7.25 hours/day

🔧 What You’ll Do:

✔️ Prepare surplus assets for sale via online auctions, on-site events, and cash-and-carry programs

✔️ Photograph, describe, and price items for listing on online sales platforms

✔️ Assist customers with previews, sales inquiries, and loading purchased items

✔️ Ship items to successful bidders and manage returns to maximize value

✔️ Receive, inspect, and appraise surplus assets, ensuring accurate inventory management

✔️ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load/unload trucks

✔️ Allocate warehouse space efficiently and maintain a safe, organized work environment

✔️ Support redeployment of reusable assets to partner programs and community initiatives

✔️ Safely remove and destroy data from electronic storage devices

✔️ Identify recyclable materials and ensure proper disposal of non-saleable items

✔️ Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure facility security

✔️ Process sales transactions, issue receipts, handle cash/credit/debit payments, and provide customer service excellence

💡 Key Skills You Bring:

✅ 3+ years of customer service and/or retail sales experience

✅ 3+ years using computerized inventory management systems

✅ 3+ years operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (valid forklift certification required)

✅ 3+ years experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a warehouse setting

✅ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

✅ Ability to lift, move, and load/unload items safely

🌟 Bonus Points For:

🔹 First Aid/AED Certification

🔹 OHS, TDG, or WHMIS certification

🔹 Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365

🔹 Experience in online sales (eBay, Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace)

🔹 Experience in asset research, appraisal, and retail merchandising

🔹 Lean/Six Sigma efficiency training
