Polywest Ltd is a distributor of liquid handling products including polyethylene tanks, Banjo & Norwesco liquid handling product, and underground fiberglass water and wastewater tanks.

Shipper|Receiver – Polywest Saskatoon

Purpose: This is a permanent, full time position.

The Shipper|Receiver is responsible to receive and slot incoming product, preparation, and shipping of product to customer and the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and yard. The Shipper|Receiver will require an outgoing personality who will fulfill the transactional needs of our customers. An inquisitive mind and attention to detail and accuracy will be crucial. Solid multitasking skills, effective communication and problem solving with demonstrated flexibility will be attributes that will serve you very well in this role. Time management and accuracy are key attributes for this position.

Duties:

• Assist with loading, unloading of shipments from carriers
• Pick, pack and execute the shipping needs of customer sales.
• Schedule and arrange inbound and outbound shipments as required by email, telephone or online shipping forms.
• Ensure the warehouse and yard is kept in a clean and orderly fashion and assist with minor building/yard maintenance as required.
• Assist with the staging and planning of upcoming shipments to maximize shipping space, and execute efficient loading and minimal load times.
• Operation of computer programs and forklifts will be expected. Training will be provided.
