About the Role

Pan Pacific Toronto is seeking an experienced and well-connected Freelance Business Development Manager to drive new revenue opportunities across corporate, leisure, and group segments. This contract role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong network in hospitality, travel, events, and corporate markets who can deliver measurable business results while enjoying flexible work arrangements.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities for rooms, events, and F&B across key market segments.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and community partners.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into confirmed bookings.
  • Represent Pan Pacific Toronto at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings as needed.
  • Create and execute outreach strategies to grow awareness and drive revenue.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and business recommendations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of leads and report on performance, conversion, and revenue generated.
  • Collaborate with the hotel’s Sales & Marketing team to ensure alignment on promotions and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership growth in hospitality or tourism.
  • Strong network within Toronto’s corporate, events, and travel community.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven, target-focused, and able to manage work independently.
  • Professional, polished presence suited for client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to work on a commission-driven model with consulting fee structure.
