Job Posting: Warehouse Associate (Temporary Full-Time)

Location: In person (Orange Frog Productions, 280, 2880 45th Ave SE, Calgary)

Expected Hours Per Week: 40

Regular Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00

(Some alternate scheduling – extended shifts, evenings and weekends - may be required)

As a key player of our team, you will contribute to our success by ensuring the accurate, timely and efficient operation of warehouse processes to meet the needs of our shows and rentals

Position Overview:

We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. As the member of a small team, you will safely and collaboratively ensure that orders leaving and returning to the warehouse are accurate, timely and that the gear is maintained in keeping with the high quality controlled standards of Orange Frog Productions.

Key Responsibilities:Order Management:

Pull orders and prepare them for shipping.

Unpack incoming orders from rentals, shows and incoming inventory or sales orders

Shipping and Receiving:

Load and secure cases/pallets in trucks for delivery.

Follow Orange Frog Processes and Procedures to maintain consistency in order management

Provide excellent customer service when assisting rental clients with the pick up and/or drop off of their orders

Inventory Tracking:

Utilize FLEX software to track and manage orders effectively.

Quality Control:

Inspect incoming orders for damage or missing items and report findings to the Warehouse Manager.

Test gear to ensure it is completely operational and prepped for the next usage

Forklift Operation:

Safely operate forklifts to move and organize inventory.

Delivery Operations:

Deliver and pick up orders using 1-ton, 3-ton and/or 5-ton rental trucks, following optimal, permitted routes within the city.

Warehouse Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Follow all health and safety regulations, requirements and processes.

Additional Tasks:

Assist with any other tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Position RequirementsSkills:

-         Strong attention to detail

-         Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

-         Strong written and oral communication skills.

-         Proficient use of computers with programs such as data management systems, email, spreadsheets and word processing

-         Ability to lift and push heavy items (over 50lbs)

-         Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks daily.

-         Ability to work extended shifts, evenings and weekends (as required)

-         Ability to drive (up to a 5-Ton vehicle preferred)

Knowledge:

-         Prior experience in a warehouse, rentals or logistics environment is preferred.

-         Knowledge of the event, production and/or entertainment industries is an asset

Qualifications/Certifications:

-         High school diploma or equivalent

-         Valid Class 5 (or higher) Driver’s License

-         Fluency in English (written and spoken)

-         Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset

-         Valid First Aid is an asset
