One Performance Institute is an integrated sport rehabilitation and performance facility located on the Vancouver/Burnaby border. Our clinicians and coaches work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive, individualized care — from acute injury management to seamless return-to-play transitions.
Our 14,000-sq-ft facility combines advanced sport sciences, strength and conditioning, and evidence-based rehabilitation. Whether recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or training for elite sport, we provide expert, performance-driven solutions for clients and athletes looking to reach their next level.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a physiotherapist focused on performance and rehabilitation. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment and performance plans for patients. Daily responsibilities include providing physiotherapy interventions, tracking progress, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and educating patients on preventive care and wellness.
Active participation in team meetings, mentorship sessions, and ongoing professional development is expected. The environment is designed for clinicians who want to bridge rehabilitation and performance, grow their professional reach, and contribute to a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and development of evidence-based treatment plans
- Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication with other healthcare professionals
- Experience in patient education and preventive health strategies
- Demonstrated understanding of sport, performance, and rehabilitation planning, including load management, program design, and return-to-play considerations
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and integrated performance environment
Preferences
- 3–5 years of experience in orthopaedic and sport physiotherapy
- Completion of AIM Level 3 (Upper and/or Lower) or are working toward FCAMPT designation
- Certified in dry needling/IMS/Acupuncture
- Background in Strength and Conditioning, Kinesiology, or Applied Sport Science
- Progressing toward or the completion of the Sport Certificate or Sport Diploma with Sport Physiotherapy Canada.
- Driven to access and engage the community to build a performance-focused caseload
- Committed to mentorship, education, and professional growth within a collaborative team environment
