We are working with our public sector client to identify a highly skilled Front-End Software Developer with deep expertise in modern web development technologies and a proven track record delivering dynamic, user-focused applications. Must haves
Atleast 7 Plus years of experience in Angular and Java
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust front-end solutions with a focus on engaging and accessible user interfaces.
- Translate technical specifications into fully functional applications, including developing detailed programming logic and conducting unit testing.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to development, implementation, conversion, and system migrations.
- Collaborate across teams to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle with an emphasis on agile practices.
Core Technical Skills (70%)
We’re looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in:
- Front-end web development with 9**+ years** of relevant experience.
- Advanced programming with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and JSON.
- In-depth knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI.
- Consuming and integrating RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Working with Git, SVN, branching strategies, and pull requests.
- Experience using tools like Postman, Swagger-UI, OAuth/JWT for API testing and authentication.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jasmine.
- Solving cross-browser compatibility issues and optimizing client-side performance.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker is a strong asset.
- Good grasp of RDBMS design concepts and experience identifying risk and proposing technical solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Communication & Soft Skills (30%)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across teams.
- Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a detail-oriented approach.
- Reliable team contributor who consistently meets deadlines and deliverables.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with AODA standards and accessibility best practices.
- Experience with middleware, gateways, and post-implementation support.
- Knowledge of Information Management (IM) principles.
- Background in Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.
- Experience working with Social Media APIs, responsive frameworks, and creating scalable interfaces for large, complex systems.
- Involvement in product strategy and roadmap planning, including working with external partners or licensing models.
