· Develop and administer student payment plan agreements in line with institutional policy and manage accurate scheduling and timely collection of installments.
· Administer scholarship disbursements and reconcile awards against student accounts on an ongoing basis.
· Advise students on post-graduation repayment, including grace periods, interest timelines, and options like the Repayment Assistance Plan.
· Enter and maintain accurate student financial records in the Student Information System.
· Support New West College's compliance with Alberta Student Aid designation requirements, including record retention, audit readiness, and policy adherence.
· Develop and deliver workshops and presentations on Alberta Student Aid, available awards, and financial literacy for both prospective and current students.
Qualifications:· Diploma in Business, Accounting or related field.
· Minimum of 1+ years of experience in student advising, financial planning or financial administration at a post-secondary institution (preferably a PCC).
· Experience working with Alberta Student Aid or other post-secondary financial aid programs.

· High attention to detail, especially when managing records, reconciling accounts and ensuring compliance.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
· Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to actively engage students, faculty, and external partners in a positive and approachable manner.
· Demonstrated enthusiasm for building connections and fostering collaborative relationships in both one-on-one and group settings.
· Comfortable initiating conversations, facilitating discussions, and presenting ideas with confidence to diverse audiences.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, online job boards, social media, and virtual conferencing tools.

· Play a vital role in shaping careers.
· Enjoy a collaborative work environment with opportunities to grow professionally.
· Take advantage of a comprehensive suite of employer benefits.
Perks:· Comprehensive Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Professional Services & Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP))
