🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Lead inspection, service, repair, and installation of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Work with Simplex and other multi-vendor fire alarm products.
• Provide technical support & training to junior technicians.
• Program, inspect, and verify complex systems (custom voice messaging, smoke control, network audio switching, TSW programming).
• Deliver inspection reports & documentation to clients.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs and high-level customer service.

📋 Requirements

Must-Haves

• 5+ years’ experience in low-voltage electrical systems (Fire/Life Safety systems).
• CFAA Certification (Canadian Fire Alarm Association).
• Technical training (e.g., Electronics Technologist or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding, ceilings, crawl spaces).
• Physically able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, on-call shifts, and travel when needed.

Nice-to-Haves

• Strong organizational & customer service skills.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience writing clear inspection/verification reports.
• Self-starter, able to work independently.
