As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon's business goals. Core Responsibilities As an Associate Engineer II - Secrets Management, you will join an established engineering team focused on delivering secure, scalable, and reliable secrets management capabilities. You will learn and apply lululemon's engineering practices while contributing hands‑on to the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of our Enterprise Secrets Management Services. You will work closely with senior engineers, platform teams, and application teams to help enable secure-by-default patterns across our cloud and technology infrastructure.

  • Contribute hands‑on to the operation, support, and enhancement of the Secrets Management platform, primarily using HashiCorp Vault.
  • Support the delivery and adoption of secrets management solutions for application and platform teams under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to deliver secure, reliable outcomes.
  • Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis related to secrets, authentication, provisioning, and access workflows
  • Contribute to infrastructure‑as‑code and automation efforts supporting Vault and related cloud services.
  • Help maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and standard patterns for secrets management usage.
  • Actively learn and apply lululemon Engineering Pillars (Security, Quality, Reliability) in day‑to‑day work.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant platform engineering experience in a support, delivery, or development role.
  • Hands‑on experience with HashiCorp Vault, including usage, support, or integration in real‑world environments.
  • Experience with software development and cloud infrastructure, including exposure to SDLC and cloud‑native services.
  • Working knowledge of secure authentication, secrets handling, and access control concepts.
  • Ability to follow established engineering patterns while developing increasing autonomy in execution.

nice to have

  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
  • Familiarity with GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to Splunk or similar observability and logging platforms.
  • Experience supporting or integrating security or platform services in a cloud environment (AWS and/or Azure).

Additional Notes Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role. Compensation And Benefits Package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $86,900 - $95,490 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
