The Opportunity

My Viva Inc. is seeking a Project Manager based in Edmonton, Alberta, to lead diverse strategic initiatives across the organization. You will own multiple projects concurrently, moving between clinical program management, employee experience development, operational process improvements, and other strategic company initiatives. Unlike specialized project roles, this position requires versatility and the ability to drive projects of different types and scopes. You will partner with the CEO, Director of Product Development, Manager of Revive Wellness, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with company goals. Your work will directly shape how My Viva scales operations, supports patients, and delivers value to clinic partners.

What You'll DoLead strategic projects

  • Own the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects across clinic onboarding, employee experience development, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to My Viva's strategic planning by ensuring projects align with corporate goals and long-term growth objectives.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with the leadership team and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Develop project roadmaps that support both short-term and long-term company initiatives.

Execute and deliver

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee execution of projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Identify and address potential roadblocks proactively, solving issues before they impact project success.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to the CEO and leadership team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory, industry, and company standards.

Drive operational excellence

  • Lead development of employee manuals covering benefits, company policies, and operational processes including complaints management and organizational support structures.
  • Identify opportunities for improving project management tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices that ensure scalability and sustainability of operations.
  • Develop standardized documentation and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects and content.
  • Establish project performance metrics, ensuring alignment with financial targets and operational goals.

Collaborate and enable teams

  • Work closely with internal teams including Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Revive Wellness dietitians to align project goals with business objectives.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, sales reps, account managers, researchers, and clinical teams.
  • Act as the key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and effective collaboration.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging cross-functional collaboration and the sharing of best practices.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain clear, open communication with all stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring clear deliverables, accountability, and continuous development.

Measure and improve

  • Conduct regular project performance reviews and ensure alignment with My Viva's values and mission.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports and presentations to senior management and clients.
  • Analyze project outcomes and user engagement data, implementing lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a Health-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare, healthtech, health SaaS, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish across diverse project types.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software, preferably Jira.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
  • Grant-writing experience is an asset.
  • Clinical or research background is an asset.
  • Experience working on international projects is an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and technology trends is an asset.

Role Details

  • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer.
  • Compensation package: Competitive salary, health and dental benefits, 3–4 weeks paid vacation. Final offer reflects experience, skills, and market location.
