  • Coordinate and administer human capital activities including total rewards, learning and development, recruitment and performance management
  • Coordinate campus recruitment activities for the region
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage terminations as appropriate
  • Contribute to the ongoing management of the recruitment database; post jobs, update postings, and manage candidates through the applicant tracking system
  • Utilize acquisition and social media platforms to build talent pool
  • Lead, coordinate and deliver orientation and manage onboarding logistics
  • Manage employee data records including manual files, payroll and HRIS updates
  • Complete administration of compensation, regional promotions, transfers and annual performance evaluations
  • Provide oversight for the facilitation of learning and development programs, including on-site logistics, equipment setup, catering, registration, and course materials
  • Prepare presentations for internal business; facilitate workgroups, training sessions and meetings
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries; serve as a link between leadership and team members by managing inquiries, employee relations, educating on self-service options
  • Compile statistical reports/metrics on programs such as campus compensation data, etc.
  • Communicate disability management matters with benefits team members; provide support to payroll teams to manage payroll issues
  • Maintain accurate, timely filing of human resource correspondence, invoices, receipts, office records
  • Stay up to date on existing and forthcoming legislation to determine impacts
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas/approaches to improve work processes
  • Maintain flexibility to travel in the Lower Mainland as necessary
  • Home office for this position can be South Surrey, Langley or Port Moody

Skills And Experience

  • Post-secondary education and accreditation with HR specialty
  • 2-3 years of HR experience is preferred
  • Professional services industry experience is considered an asset
  • Research and project-oriented work experience
