Your place in our story The PDO Representative is responsible for conducting various Pre-Delivery Orientations to identify deficiencies and provide the Homeowner with an orientation to their new home. Here’s How You’ll Contribute
- Conduct inspections prior to Pre-Delivery to ensure quality meet standards
- Conduct PDO inspection with Homeowners
- Explain Tarion / Minto warranty to Homeowners
- Review Homeowner selections and changes
- Review house operations (fan’s, ERV, furnace, hot water tank)
- Review Minto PDO and PDO items with construction team
- Follow up on construction / Minto PDO to ensure items completed / closed off
- Other duties withing the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as directed by Minto
What You Bring To The Team
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in the construction is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Newstar Constellation an asset
- Ability to read plans
- Knowledge of Tarion procedures in relation to PDO and Warranty
- Problem solving
- Good judgment
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Professional in nature
- Adaptability to the customer
- Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
