Freelance Copywriter

Milo & Dexter is a Canadian apparel brand dedicated to producing timeless garments made entirely in Canada. Working with farms, mills, and manufacturers across the country, the brand focuses on classic silhouettes, responsible production, and a transparent farm-to-garment textile supply chain.

We are looking for a freelance copywriter to help articulate the brand’s voice across digital platforms, product storytelling, and marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who appreciates heritage brands, thoughtful design, and narrative-driven marketing.

Responsibilities

Brand & Editorial Writing

• Write and refine copy for the website, product descriptions, and editorial content
• Develop brand storytelling around materials, Canadian production, and collections
• Support written content for campaigns, product launches, and collaborations

Marketing & Digital Content

• Write copy for newsletters, marketing emails, and social media
• Assist with campaign messaging and seasonal marketing initiatives
• Support copy needs for digital marketing and brand partnerships

Brand Voice

• Maintain consistency in brand tone and storytelling across platforms
• Help refine and evolve the Milo & Dexter brand voice

Qualifications

• Experience in copywriting, editorial writing, or brand storytelling
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to translate brand identity into clear and compelling copy
• Interest in fashion, textiles, design, or heritage brands
