Marketing & Events Coordinator

MatchBox Consulting Group is searching for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our client, a long-standing HVAC solutions provider organization based in North Vancouver that partners closely with contractors, builders, engineering firms, and building owners across Western Canada. In this role, you would support company-wide marketing initiatives and lead the planning and execution of high-impact events. • Support integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and print channels.
• Develop marketing collateral including newsletters, brochures, web content, and social assets.
• Track and report on campaign performance using analytics and CRM tools.
• Maintain marketing databases and assist with lead-generation activities.
• Support budget tracking and resource allocation for marketing initiatives.
• Plan and execute customer-facing and supplier events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, golf tournaments, lunch-and-learns, and corporate gatherings.
• Manage logistics from venue booking to catering, schedules, materials, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with sales, service, parts, and external partners to align event programming with business goals.
• Capture event photography and maintain an organized internal image library.
• Support brand consistency across all marketing channels and company platforms.
• Lead the sourcing, ordering, and distribution of promotional merchandise and branded materials.
• Assist with internal communications, content creation, and campaign execution.
• Contribute to advertising, website updates, and general brand management.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience in marketing and/or events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools.
• Experience with CRM platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Ads, or Mailchimp is an asset.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project-coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets simultaneously.
• Industry familiarity (HVAC, construction, or related technical fields) is an asset.
