Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator located in Ottawa, ON. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for estimating and pricing work on various scopes of projects, from interior and exterior finishes to office fit-ups. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing blueprints, conducting material take-offs, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers, subcontractors and clients

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience in construction estimating and cost analysis (min 5 years)
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Project management experience is a plus
• Construction-related certification or diploma is beneficial
