Lifemark is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager – Rehabilitation and LTD Services to capitalize on significant growth opportunities within our Long-Term Disability (LTD), Disability Management (DM), and Extended Health Care (EHC) lines of business. This is a critical role focused on building strategic partnerships, recovering lost revenue opportunities and driving revenue growth, In this role, you will:
- Manage and grow LTD, DM, and EHC partner relationships nationally.
- Develop and execute a national third-party payer go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
- Formalize contracts with warm clients and expand into structured partnerships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the LTD, DM, and EHC markets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, marketing, clinical teams) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with partners.
- Represent Lifemark at industry events and conferences.
- Support EHC digital enablement (API/API integration for private billing).
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive as an Account Manager with experience in Insurance, Healthcare or related Industry
- Experience specifically within the LTD, DM, or EHC sectors is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian healthcare market and payer landscape.
- Need to be comfortable building PPT presentations at an executive level
- Good financial acumen
- Extensive experience using a CRM
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong partner relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
