Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lachine, Montreal, QC, for a Press Machine Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing press machines to ensure quality production of flexible packaging materials. Additional responsibilities include conducting quality checks, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining operational efficiency, and adhering to safety protocols. The Press Machine Operator will collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure product quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating flexographic presses or printing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in quality control of finished products
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with flexible packaging production preferred but not required
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow production schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the production team
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certification in machinery operation is a plus
• Ability to work in an on-site job in Montreal, QC, with a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability
