The Opportunity Leavitt Machinery is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Credit Operations Assistant in Coquitlam, British Columbia to join our team for a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Credit & Accounts Receivable team, this role will provide administrative support across a variety of credit and customer account functions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to credit, collections, customer service, and business operations while contributing to day-to-day departmental activities and special projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities As the Credit Operations Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Updating and maintaining customer account information and records
- Conducting customer outreach by phone and email to support account maintenance activities
- Assisting with invoice copy requests and documentation management
- Performing data entry, record updates, and data cleanup activities
- Supporting departmental projects and process improvement initiatives
- Escalating customer concerns or issues requiring further review
- Assisting with customer portal administration and account maintenance
- Providing general administrative support to the Credit & Accounts Receivable team
- Completing other duties and special projects as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong customer service skills and a professional approach to communication
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

The hourly pay range for this role is: $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience. This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
