We hold licenses from Health Canada, Controlled Substances, Cannabis, and FDA.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Analyst at LaboVal Inc in Montreal, QC. Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing analytical tests in chemistry daily lab operations and execution of testing. Testing typically includes samples from raw materials, packaging components and utilities and executing various protocol studies using approved test methods. This position requires competent understanding and ability to perform techniques using UV spectrophotometry, HPLC/UPLC, GC, ICP-MS, Karl Fisher, Dissolution and AA. He/She will be responsible for inspecting and sampling all raw materials that are used and packaging according to the Specification and associated approved procedures.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills and Laboratory Skills (HPLC/UPLC, GC, ICP-MS, Karl Fisher, Dissolution and AA)
  • Knowledge of GMP as well as pharmacopeia (USP, BP, EP) to support products intended for the Canadian, US and European market.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Equipment
  • Ability to work accurately and attentively in a laboratory setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • No sponsorship will be provided by Laboval
