Interior Designer

Founded over 35 years ago Kindrachuk Agrey Architecture (KAA) is a Saskatoon based full-service design, planning, and architectural consulting practice committed to service excellence, innovation, community conscious and sustainable design. We are a team of dedicated design professionals (Architects, Interior Designers and Technologists) working in a collaborative environment. We encourage team building and aim to provide a supportive and authentic environment for staff to grow and develop. Kindrachuk Agrey Architecture is currently accepting applications for an Interior Designer. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts into complete detailed working drawing and specification packages as per KAA Standards.
• Sourcing of materials, fixtures and furnishings with special attention to sustainability & wellness.
• Conduct accurate site measurements and furniture inventory.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members, outside consultants, clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Ensure drawing standards, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.

Qualifications:

• A relevant post-secondary diploma or degree in Interior design.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant position.

Skills Required:

• Intermediate command of Revit.
• Experience leading contract administration processes including site review.
• Furniture procurement.
• Experience interpreting the current NBC, local bylaws, site requirements and space requirements.
• Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office considered an asset.
