A large organization in the financial and corporate services sector is seeking a Senior Analyst

to support key corporate functions. This role offers exposure to senior leadership, month-end ownership, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

About the Role:

Reporting into a Senior Finance Leader, this position serves as the finance lead for multiple internal service groups. The role is responsible for month-end close, variance analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting support, forecasting, and intercompany processes, ensuring accurate, timely insights for operational and leadership teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a primary finance partner for internal corporate service teams.
  • Lead and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and cost centre reporting.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
  • Present financial results and insights to internal business groups.
  • Support monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting cycle for both operating and capital planning.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs, highlighting trends and month-over-month changes.
  • Support the biannual cost-allocation model process.
  • Prepare intercompany billings and complete month-end intercompany journal entries.
  • Respond to senior management requests and support ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.

What You Bring:

  • 3–4 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
  • Strong financial systems capabilities, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive work style with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
