Overview / Responsibilities The Project Manager IV is responsible for leading risk management activities across a portfolio of projects. Key duties include risk identification, assessment, response planning, monitoring, and control. The role focuses on enabling timely, risk-based decision-making and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate early risk and opportunity identification, assessment, and response planning sessions to support project planning.
- Lead the development of risk management templates, workflows, and execution strategies.
- Monitor risk response progress and address emerging risks.
- Develop schedule risk models and evaluate confidence levels in meeting In-Service Dates.
- Collaborate with project teams to support risk-based decision-making and problem-solving.
- Maintain and update the risk register; prepare risk reports as required.
- Conduct continuous cost and schedule reviews and analyze impacts of project changes.
- Lead constructability review sessions.
- Support contingency estimation and calibration for all projects.
- Conduct lessons-learned reviews, issue resolution, and trend analysis; ensure timely communication of findings across project teams.
Skill Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in project management, risk management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of project risk management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with schedule risk modeling and analysis.
- Proven ability to drive corrective action and facilitate decision-making.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites (10%).
