Overview Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have a reliable transportation to commute. Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and Maintain QA/QC control documentation.
- Document Control – organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors.
- Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality.
- Ensure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork.
- Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor.
- Complete sub assembly inspections such as: motor, coil, evap., furnace, and paint.
- Complete unit final inspections.
- Review inspection documents and make unit packages.
- Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.
- Assist with education of other inspectors and production team members.
- Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct.
- Assist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor.
- Inspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies.
- Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
- Other duties as required.
Working Conditions
- Commercial/Industrial environment.
- Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.
- Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).
- Long periods of standing.
- Overtime as required
